As we approach the new year, we want to inform you about a series of changes aimed at enhancing your experience while accommodating necessary development works. 

We appreciate your understanding and patience during this transitional period.

Member Activities

Starting January 2025, please note the following changes to our weekly bingo and cash housie sessions at DOOLEVS Lidcombe due to ongoing development works:

Bingo - New Timeslot

Bingo will recommence on Thursday, 9 January 2025, in Lloyds Bistro with the following schedule: 

• Monday: 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM in Lloyds Bistro 
• Thursday: 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM in Lloyds Bistro

Unfortunately, due to limited space within the Lidcombe property, Monday evening bingo will not be held in 2025.

Cash Housie - New Location

Tuesday evening Cash Housie will relocate to Regent St Pavilion starting Tuesday, 7 January 2025: 

• Tuesday: 7:00 PM at Regent St Pavilion – New Location. 
• Thursday: Cash Housie sessions at Regent St Pavilion will continue as normal.

We appreciate your understanding as we implement these changes to facilitate ongoing building works within our Lidcombe club.

Kids Play Area

To support development works in the current Kids Quarter space, we will be relocating the Kids Play facilities to the Banksia Room. This transition will occur soon, with new play equipment set to be installed in January 2025.

During this time, our weekly raffles on Fridays and Sundays will continue as scheduled in the Banksia Room, alongside our new family-friendly offerings. 

We look forward to welcoming members back to our weekly raffles which recommence from Friday, 10 January 2025. 

In the new year, the Banksia Room will transform into a vibrant space for families, complete with access to our bistro services.

Members can be reassured kids birthday parties will still be available in the new Kids Play area, however the room will be shared and not exclusively reserved.

We appreciate your understanding and support as we make these improvements for our members and their families. 

Other Key Updates 

Internally, works to the main restrooms adjacent to the Baileys Sports Bar are now complete. The result, a sumptuous new amenity which provides a glimpse of the aspirational nature of our future facilities and the quality of the design and workmanship. 

With the new restrooms on the ground floor becoming operational, we are now able to commence demolition of the existing restrooms at the John St Café and Members Lounge. These works are scheduled to commence in early January 2025.

Once again, we apologies for the inconvenience, but we hope that the new amenities at Baileys Sports Bar will go some way to mitigate any inconvenience caused.
