There will be a Director Information Evening at DOOLEYS Lidcombe Catholic Club

Following last week’s announcement from the NSW State Government regarding the easing of several COVID-19 restrictions, we are excited to be able to reopen our doors from Monday 1st June!

It has now been seven weeks since DOOLEYS was instructed by the Government to temporarily close our doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Our prayers this week have been very much with the family of Fr Ray Farrell, the much loved Parish Priest of St John of God, Auburn who entered eternal life last Friday.

Our recent closures have had further impacts on our Club and I wanted to keep you updated on what’s happening behind the scenes at DOOLEYS. 

On Sunday night, the Prime Minister announced a new set of restrictions on indoor gatherings aimed at controlling the spread of COVID-19 in Australia.  As part of these restrictions on indoor gatherings, pubs, clubs, restaurants, cafes, gyms and places of worship will be closed from today, Monday 23 March.

Yesterday the Prime Minister announced new measures to control the spread of Covid-19.  These new measures include restrictions on ‘non-essential’ gatherings and are capped at 100 people per indoor area and 500 people per outdoor area.

Coronavirus (or COVID-19) continues to dominate our news headlines as new cases are reported both here in Australia and across the world. DOOLEYS number one priority is the safety of our Members, guests and staff.
