Walk for Wishes!

DOOLEYS Health + Fitness
27 June 2018

Do Something! Day is an initiative which encourages everyone to get involved and give back to their local community.

As part of Do Something Day, DOOLEYS Health + Fitness have partnered with Make-A-Wish Foundation to hold a 24 hour fundraising Treadmill Challenge.  The Treadmill Challenge will be held from 6.00pm on Tuesday 24 July to 6.00pm on Wednesday 25 July.

DOOLEYS Health + Fitness members and staff will share the challenge of walking non-stop for 24 hours on a treadmill.  All money raised will go to The Make a Wish Foundation – an organisation that transforms the lives of children battling life threatening medical conditions through the healing power of a wish!

“We’re excited to be hosting our very first 24 Hour Treadmill Challenge in support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation,” said DOOLEYS Health + Fitness Manager Susan Lahood. “The funds raised are going straight towards making wishes come true for kids who are going through a rough time. We’re inviting all members and guests to join in, jump on a treadmill and donate some money so our friends from the Make-A-Wish Foundation can keep supporting and shining light on sick kids and their families!’’
