Local Year 11 students from across Cumberland and Parramatta areas have recently been challenged to undertake a unique life changing experience - DOOLEYS Max Potential Program. Max Potential is a youth leadership and personal development program which provides students with life skills to become our community leaders of the future.
The Students that have participated in the program come from a wide range of schools including Trinity Catholic College, Auburn Girls High, Granville Boys High, Macarthur Girls High and Parramatta High School.
From beginning to end, the young adults have set themselves personal goals in various areas of their life and are challenging themselves to explore tough questions as "What normally holds me back from achieving what I want"? and "What habits do I need to change to achieve my goals?"
The Programs involves students to explore life changing principles which will help them take control of their life and reach the goals they want to achieve. Students are also undertake a local community project - something that they are personally passionate about and is designed to help others and leave a legacy in our community. Some common areas of personal growth experienced by the young adults so far include self-belief and confidence, being open with other people, taking responsibility for their goals and overcoming negative thoughts and self-doubt.
DOOLEYS is proud to be involved in this unique youth development program and we congratulate each student on their dedication to the program and their commitment to our local community.
