DOOLEYS Management has taken immediate action to implement precautionary measures after being made aware of a second positive case of COVID-19 at our Lidcombe Club venue.
A decision has been made to close DOOLEYS Lidcombe Catholic Club, DOOLEYS Health & Fitness Centre and the Administration building.
It is important to note that it is yet unclear whether these two cases are linked. We have taken this precautionary measure in the interest of the health and safety of employees, members and guests, as we await further advice and directives from NSW Health regarding this COVID case.
In the meantime, we encourage members and guests to monitor for any COVID symptoms and to seek further information from NSW Health should they be concerned.
Our key priority here at DOOLEYS is the safety, health and wellbeing of our employees, members and guests. We are committed to ensuring DOOLEYS is a safe place to work and visit and our venues continue to be a trusted ‘home away from home’ for our 79,000 members.

NEW UPDATE: 9:30PM THURSDAY 13 AUGUST, 2020
Some further information has been made available after consultation with NSW Health this evening regarding the second COVID case.
If you were on premises at our DOOLEYS Lidcombe venue during the following dates and times below, you are considered a ‘Close Contact’ and will be required to self-isolate for 14 days and get tested for COVID-19 at the earliest.
- Friday 7 August 5:00pm – Saturday 8 August 6:30am
- Saturday 8 August between 4:30pm – 11:30pm
- Sunday 9 August between 1:00pm – 9:00pm
- Monday 10 August between 12:00pm – 9:30pm
We have provided a list of the names and contact details of anyone that was present at our Lidcombe venue during the dates and times mentioned above to NSW Health.
A member of NSW Health will be in contact with you in the next 24 hours to discuss your responsibilities and any course of action required in this matter.
The Club has arranged a pop-up drive-thru COVID Test Clinic to commence on Friday 14 August at 1pm to 5pm with entry via entry the lower gates of DOOLEYS Lidcombe car park off Church St. To obtain a COVID test at this drive thru clinic, you must:
- Obtain a referral from your GP via telehealth appointment;
- Bring along a hard copy of the referral OR, send the referral via Fax to: 02 8745 6177 OR email to corpreceptionist@dooleys.com prior to attending the pop-up clinic.
Additional times for this pop-up clinic will be communicated through DOOLEYS website and Facebook page.
NSW Health has also advised of the following local clinics where you are able to get tested (no referral required):

Open: 8:30am-4:30pm Monday-Friday
9am-4pm Saturday
Children under the age of 5 years will not be tested at this facility and will be referred to their closest Emergency Department.
